In 2008, on the Wind River Reservation three Arapaho girls Ohetica Win (13 years), Winter Rose Jenkins (14 years) and Alexandrea WhitePlume (15 years) died after overdosing on methodone allegedly given to them by some local teenage boys. In 2010, Marisa Spoonhunter (13 years) was was choked to death; her body found under a tree five days after her disappearance.
